Old fashioned English architecture , restored and maintained beautifully , Heather.
It is close to the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
His houses the same street are also maintained well .

My family left England when I was almost 3. I’ve never been back but have always been curious about what I’ve missed. I’ve used Google Earth to see that house and neighbourhood I last lived in there. The area has this look. Very English, very beautiful.

England is a really photogenic country , Allan.
Of course , almost all countries have great scenic places.
Still , England has history and modernity going hand in hand with great landscapes.
Plan to visit it once , Allan. I am sure you won’t regret it !
