    • Thank you, Naima. You are right .
Certainly , it is beautiful . Amzingly so .
This post is a photograph of the original sculpture in Vatican.

      Thanks again.

  1. Ah, La Pietà! She is the universal symbol of motherhood, I think. This is a fine image, Utham. It’s good to see your work again. I have been remiss in following you, but I did not forget. I saw you today and smiled. Then I came to visit! You go way back to the beginning of my little blog. 🙂 In this place, that’s forever ago!

    • Thanks a lot , George. It is always great to see you in this blog.

In fact, you may not know that you have a very special place in the history of this blog. In the initial stages , I used to see several times a day , whether anybody has visited this blog .I was new to this bogging field. I was dejected often. Visitors were in single digits . I had doubts whether to continue blogging or not . Then on 29th day of life of this blog , you awarded ABC award for this blog with a few encouraging words. And I was really thrilled to see that news and read your words.. My dilemma was solved. I decided to go ahead. Your appreciation at the right moment was an unforgettable help .I am thankful !

I know you are busy with two excellent blogs, which I visit often .. When ever you have some free time , please do visit this one.
      Warm regards, George !

      • Well, finally. I found your comment. I got the notification, but I thought it was a comment on my blog instead of yours. I think you need to work on my brain. We were all wading around in unknown depths here at first. I started my blog to record thoughts and photos for my grandson, Charlie. That’s my purpose now too. It’s an added pleasure to share with other people. My blog is a folksy chat. Your blog is a collection of fine photography. But, we share interests and friendship and delight in each others publications. It’s fun. I thought you were remote and too talented to pay attention to my posts. I was right about the talent, wrong about you. And those experiences make my life in reclusive old age happy. Thank you Uthamz.

      • I started the blog just to share a few photos ,occasionally – sharing for the joy of sharing .
But the interaction with many of the bloggers have enriched my mind and improved my photography.
Perhaps , you are the one who have done it the most . Your encouragement hs kept the blog alive once , I have told you already.
Your guidance and interaction will be priceless for me. Always.
I am poor with words. I am more comfortable with visuals. (Since I professionally work on brain , I must know it.)
Perhaps that is why I admire your magic with words as well as pictures ,on your blog. That ‘floksy’ chat is impressive.

George , I am not sure how to thank you.You have spent your valuable time to see , analyse and comment up on so many of my posts.
Your words of appreciation and suggestions have made my day ! I am delighted.
If any of the posts of this blog can bring in a little sunshine to your mind , I will be happy.

        I am grateful .

      • Life is about sharing, Utham. That’s why you and I enjoy being on WordPress. You are a generous man and a gifted artist. I enjoy your images so very much and your kindness warms my old heart! 🙂

        Thank you.

  2. I’m so jealous you saw this in person. Although I’ll probably be arrested when I see it, don’t think I’ll be able to resist touching it.

    • 🙂 ! 🙂 ! 🙂 ! Touching it ?!?! This is in high security area , Soubie. I could hardly go anywhere near it – soooo much is the tourist crowd everyday . Even taking a good photograph was difficult. But , if you are lucky to be there on a quite day , may be you can go near it and enjoy . My best wishes. But don’t try any adventure , O.K ? 🙂 !

      Thank you.
