  1. Oh, Utham! – I’ve never seen a baby buffalo before! And what a super shot!! – what TIMING! You’re an absolutely terrific photog., my dear!

    • Thanks a lot , M.R , for the kind words and appreciation.

This is a wild buffalo – I am not sure whether it has any other name – I saw in the forest .
It is very much protective of the calf – like any other mother.
Even when it was caring for its baby , it was watching our movements quitely .

It was a nice experience to see the tender love in the wild .

      Thanks again.

  2. Utham, Yet another terrific shot! You have managed to capture the right moment so well. Was this in Bandipur?

    • Thank you , Ranjit .

I went to Kabani forests , near Wynad , during a weekend .
This one was quite far , but zoom lens helped.
Next time , may be Bandipur .

This above all:Β to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.

  4. Lovely shot πŸ˜€ this is just too cute for words. Where was this shot? I remember driving through the midwest in the USA and we have Buffalo, but they don’t have horns.
