    • It was shot when the safari trip was on its last leg .
Setting sun was kind enough to illuminate those animals .

      Thank you , TeeCee !
      Sorry for the delay .

    • Backlit animals are great.
I found them in thick forest ! All credits to the setting sun ! 🙂 !

      Thank you , Sophie.
Sorry for the delay to respond.

  1. What an amazing shot, Utham … the way the light is falling on those monkeys so that they’re backlit … I love the seated one’s tail, hanging as straight as a plumbob …

    • My apologies for the delay to respond , M.R .

It was shot towards the end a day’s safari.
Setting sun was graceful ! And , the monkeys , as usual , busy !

      Thank you so much ! 🙂 !

      • DO NOT apologise for any delay, Utham: now that I know your … ahh … occupation ( ! ), I am amazed that you find any time EVER to respond !!! 🙂

  2. Primates are so like us except that they do not waste time watching TV! These sweet creatures are a treasure showing us the good we are capable of. Catching this shot as the sun sets is also poignant as the numbers worldwide dwindle. Yes, a treasure indeed. Lovely shot, Uthamz!

    • Towards the end of a safari trip . when I was getting ready to put the camera back to the bag ,
I found these backlit monkeys. Plain , simple luck !
Setting sun was kind to me . And them . 🙂 !

      Thank you , Jackie !
Sorry for the delay in response.

Was a bit busy at work .

Thank you so much for the kind words.
It was shot in the Kabani forests.
