  4. Utham, I just gave you the ABC award for Awesome Blog Content. You present your work. That’s what you do. Your blog is not filled with extraneous stuff. The work speaks for itself. That requires courage. You don’t fancy up your photographs. They are good enough as you shot them. And they ARE good. I don’t visit as often as I’d like, but I love what I see here.       I went for Sigma lenses due to price factor – they are much cheaper than Canon lenses.By picture quality , I have not regretted my decision so far. They do work well.

  54. thanks for your like on my post “Monthly Challenge – Macro”. You have some very nice photos on your site. One suggestion – it is difficult to navigate through your site since you have to go all the way to the bottom of the page to get to a link for another post. If your theme allows it, you should move your recent post and/or archives widgets up to the top of the page unless you don’t want to reduce the area reserved for your photos. I think a lot of people are not taking the time to see all your good work because it is difficult to get to the pages.

      Thank you so much for the suggestion. I have felt the difficulty in navigating myself. The problem was the restrictions of the theme.I tried all the tricks , I know, but failed. May have to change the theme . Shall try it soon , when I get some free time. Thanks again.

      I too had trouble in navigation thru’ the posts, but have been trying with the settings of the theme to overcome it. Your mail was the last straw. Please see the new one. Let me know what you feel.

    • You can click on the names of months in Archives – in footer area. Or there are two buttons ‘ older entries ‘ and ‘newer entries ‘
      below each photograph , before the comments. You can click on older entries and navigate backwards. It is simple. There are 116 posts so far .

        I have not written much about India in my blog mainly bc as you said yourself, there are so many places to visit. To write about them feels a bit overwhelming: where to start?

        What are your favorite places in India?

      • 🙂 ! To be frank with you , I have seen very little of my country. I have been visiting other countries to see the world , but have largely ignored my own country – may be because it is easy for me to travel anywhere in India ( after all I do not need a visa ) , may be I have postponed it to be done during my old age , may be because I thought seeing the world means seeing other countries. 🙂 !

        I have been to India’s 4 metro cities – Mumbai , Chennai , Kolcutta , and the capital Delhi . But – it is shameful to admit – I have not seen Taj Mahal which symbolises India.

        Since you love food , Mumbai is a good destination , it is India in miniature. Since you like Hinduism , Varanasi in North India , may be good to visit. Agra , for Taj Mahal , is another favorite destination. A different landscape ,culture and food can be seen in Jaipur , in western India .

        There are hundreds of other beautiful places. Try to see some , at least . I think , I will visit them after another decade when I would be in my old age ! 🙂 !

        I understand what you say about seeing the world. Your home country kind of always stays where it is –for good and for bad…

        I have a good friend (local) in Bombay so I think I am lucky to have got to know the best parts of Bombay with him and his family.

        But as you say, India is so, so rich. My recommendations to you, if I may, would be Udaipur & Jaisalmer, Kochi :-), Theyyam performance near Kannur, Ayurveda treatments in Sth Kerala, Chettinad region in Tamil Nadu, Tirumala for pilgrimage, crazy Hyderabad, Mamallapuram, etc.

        This makes me “homesick” 🙂

        Certainly , I have the rest in my wish list .
